Bradley Nies
Award Winning Playwright & Author

About Me:

As a Texas-based playwright, author, and retired theatre arts director, I create works that illuminate marginalized or forgotten chapters of American history. My core artistic values center on delivering compelling narratives that deeply engage and educate audiences. My extensive background in directing enables me to construct dynamic dramatic structures, driving action, and characters with clearly defined interior and exterior needs.

"The audience will be on the edge of their seats trying to scope out whether the hustler who finds himself in a hotel room with Jeffrey Dahmer will live or die. In this exploration of the life experiences that bred a notorious serial killer, Nies has created a gripping and ultimately satisfying psychodrama that only relieves its underlying tension in its (and the hustler’s?) final moments."-Review of Alcohol and Muscle by Donald E. Baker, Playwright and Author
